IoT University platform

Project-based learning platform for IOT and AR skills training.

  • Challenge

For industrial software training, instructor-led training has been the norm for decades. But with new software like the internet of things and augmented reality, software developers want a self-paced, digital experience.

  • Approach

We blended MOOC experiences with social learning features to create a modern training experience that included project-based courses, specialization learning pathways, and high touch community features to support students during their course work.

  • Results

We designed and built the beta platform in six months and enrolled thousands of developers across 60+ countries. The platform was a big success and within a year the beta was transformed as the flagship platform for global MOOC training.

Build technical credentials through project-based MOOCs

Technical courses were strung together into a specialization where the learner applied concepts and methods to actual working code. After completing the specialization pathway, students could download an industry credential.
